The creation of Bull Angling Innovations “Bullai” is the result of up to 50 years of angling experience on the part of each of the team members with the desire to improve existing lines and fibres used for angling. This combined with 40 years working in leading edge fibre technology and polymer physics has made it obvious where new polymer and processing techniques can dramatically improve on existing fishing fibres.

In his “day job”, the founder of Bullai – Alan works with the world’s latest polymer materials and develops fibre processing equipment that has been sold worldwide. He is especially proud to have installed English produced equipment and knowhow in America, Germany and especially Japan. These countries are often regarded as the sources of the worlds quality fishing lines. Alan’s mission is to demonstrate that UK Science and Technology is still very much alive and ‘Made in England’ will be proudly displayed on all Bullai products.

Improved knot strengths and strength to diameter improvements and the introduction of Medical fibre technology and materials to the angling scene are the key areas where Bullai will focus initially.
